About the client

Our client SIA “HansaMatrix Ventspils” is one of Northern Europe’s leading manufacturers of electronic systems and components for industries such as transport, telecommunications, energy management systems, IoT, medicine, and defence technologies. The company has a turnover of EUR 41.7 million and employs several hundred people.

Goal

The company needed help with selecting a production manager. The main task of the production manager was to ensure the effective management of human resources and production processes in accordance with quality requirements, in cooperation with production planners, plan human resources in the short and long term, as well as ensure the implementation of the production plan, manage, develop and motivate the production management team, creating knowledgeable and professional specialists.

About the recruitment process

The main challenge of this project was the region. It is not possible to manage production remotely, and the potential employee had to come from the Ventspils region, where there are relatively few potential candidates. It took 36 days to fill the vacancy. We used a direct approach method, contacting a total of 135 candidates until we achieved the desired result.

After successfully completing the recruitment process, the company entrusted us with two more projects: selecting a production manager for the Pārogre factory and a continuous improvement manager, which we successfully accomplished.
