About the client

Stable cooperation with SIA “Hortimed” has existed since the beginning of operations of both companies. The company specializes in the production and sale of peat substrate products. Production is based on the latest research in soil fertility improvement using organic and environmentally friendly solutions. The company has a turnover of EUR 7.71 million and is part of the German Floragard Beteiligungs-GmbH group, one of the largest peat companies in the world, which has been developing, manufacturing and distributing horticultural products to professional retail chains, specialized wholesalers and retailers, as well as end consumers.
Goal
The client needed to find a marketing director, as the company was growing rapidly at the time and, due to its merger with a German concern, had high requirements. The main criteria were experience in developing marketing strategies, budgeting and management, developing and implementing
communication strategies, and establishing cooperation with partners.
About the recruitment process
Throughout the competition, 23 candidates were reviewed and evaluated; the recruitment process was organized in several rounds, and four final candidates were presented to the client. Within 34 days of the start of the recruitment project, a decision was made in favour of the selected candidate.
