The company needed help selecting a senior group accountant who would ensure international accounting processes in Latvia and Estonia, as well as provide support to other group companies. The main requirements for this position were experience in accounting or finance in an international environment, knowledge of EU accounting standards and regulations, excellent English language skills, as well as strong analytical thinking, accuracy and problem-solving skills.
About the recruitment process
A total of 144 candidates were approached and, despite the complexity of the project, a professional and motivated candidate was found, to whom our client made a job offer just 14 days after being approached. The successful implementation of the project was also facilitated by the use of the Unlock Personality test to assess candidates, thus selecting candidates who not only matched the knowledge and skills required, but also had the personality traits most suited to the company and the job tasks.
