The utilities and real estate management sector is complex and employs people who deal with technical, organizational and customer service issues on a daily basis. That is why professional and qualified employees are needed to ensure effective operation and good financial performance of companies. The biggest problem for utility and management companies in recent years has been a shortage of qualified specialists with specific knowledge in engineering communications, building maintenance, technical system maintenance and safety and energy management issues. A personnel recruitment partner is able to proactively approach potential candidates who would not otherwise submit CVs themselves.
So far, we have implemented 28 personnel recruitment and assessment projects in the real estate management and utilities sector for companies such as AS “Dominante Capital”, SIA “Rīgas namu pārvaldnieks”, SIA “Rīgas nami”, SIA “Rīgas Centrāltirgus”, SIA “Property innovators”, SIA “Publisko aktīvu pārvaldītājs Possessor”, AS “Rīgas Siltums”, SIA “Civinity LV”, SIA “Viduslatvijas Mežsaimnieks”, SIA “Rīgas ūdens”, SIA “EUROPARK LATVIA”, AS “CleanR Grupa” etc.

About the client
Our client is AS “CleanR Grupa”, Latvia’s leading environmental services group, which had a turnover of EUR 52.75 million in 2024 and employed more than 300 people.
Goal
The company needed to find a corporate development manager whose main task would be to identify areas of research for potentially growing service and product segments in the industry and assess their implementation potential in the Group’s companies.
About the recruitment process
Given the important role of the corporate development manager in the company, high demands were
placed on candidates. The company needed someone with experience in change and innovation management, mergers and acquisitions, strong analytical skills and the ability to navigate large amounts of information, delve into details, identify what is important and come to conclusions. Excellent English language skills, outstanding negotiation and presentation skills and an understanding of risk management were also expected. As there are few such people in Latvia and they are in high demand, a direct approach was used, targeting potential candidates in consulting companies, investment banks and funds. Despite the complexity of the project and the four-round recruitment process, the project was successfully completed in 59 days.
Feedback from AS “CleanR Grupa”:
“Overall, the speed, quality and ability to adapt to the company’s needs and provide professional advice of the personnel recruitment process received the highest rating. The cooperation was pleasant, professional and empathetic. All selected candidates were in line with the company’s culture and requirements. Communication within the framework of cooperation was easy, responses were quick and all necessary information was provided in an easily understandable and comprehensible manner. I would definitely recommend SIA “Human Source” as a cooperation partner to others. The service received meets expectations and investment.”
